Donald R Rozema, D.D.S., PC

Dr. Rozema maintains an esthetically focused comprehensive restorative practice in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia. He is a graduate of Baylor University and Creighton University School of Dentistry and completed a one year general practice residency in the Army followed by two additional years active service as an Army Dentist. Dr. Rozema established his practice in Atlanta in 1974.
Dr. Rozema's passion for dentistry is based on hundreds of hours of continuing education. Most recently, he has attended the basic and advanced cosmetic dentistry courses at LSU Dental School, taken laser training with the World Clinical Laser Institute, and studied sedation dentistry with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Rozema's philosophy of practice was most influenced by what he learned at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education (www.pankey.org), where Dr. Rozema is now a visiting faculty member.
Dr. Rozema is a member of the Northern District Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Hinman Dental Society, The Georgia Academy of Dental Practice, The Pankey Institute Alumnae Association, The World Clinical Laser Institute, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He has been honored as an Honorable Fellow of the Georgia Dental Association and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Cathay - Clinical Assistant
Cathay attended Brevard Community College, Cocoa, FL. She is a Certified Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and is proficient in the fabrication of interim provisional crowns.
She has been a clinical assistant for 17 years and is CPR digital X-Ray certified.
Nikki - Office Manager
Nikki is our Office Manager. Her background in Dentistry includes previous work as a Dental Assistant and as an Office Manager in Houston, TX. She began her Dental Career in 1989. She is certified in taking X-rays and CPR. Nikki also has worked with many families and businesses in a previous career and has received many awards and designations. This experience compliments her ability to help patients with all financial arrangements and managing the front office.
Amanda - Dental Hygienist
Amanda is a Georgia native and is originally from Ringgold, GA. She started her dental career in 1995, as a dental hygienist assistant, while attending Dalton State College and Chattanooga State College. In 1999, Amanda graduated with honors, magna cum laude, from Chattanooga State College. She joined Dr Rozema’s practice in 2003 and is very passionate about giving the highest level of care possible to each patient. She completes approximately 15hrs of continuing education per year. She stays current on CPR training and OSHA/Infection control guidelines to help ensure safety for all of our patients. Amanda also enjoys hiking, working out and reading in her spare time.
Mary Elizabeth - Marketing
Mary Elizabeth graduated from The University of Georgia in 2002, with a BBA in Marketing. Being the daughter of Dr. Rozema, has given her a special knowledge and appreciation for dentistry and care for patients. Among Mary Elizabeth's responsibilities are co-coordinating the office schedule and making financial arrangements with patients.
Jean Rozema - Patient Coordinator
Jean graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Sociology and Psychology. Jean has worked with her husband, Dr. Rozema, in various capacities in the office since his graduation from Dental School in 1971. Jean has attended numerous Continuing Education Courses provided by the Pankey Institute and the Hinman Dental Society and participates in dental study clubs.
